Welcome to our world of connections

This year could not have come sooner, especially following a turbulent 2020 and then another volatile 2021, both of which were distinguished by the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic. Optimistically, a new year has begun, and we all expect and anticipate a better 2022.”

This year could not have come sooner, especially following a turbulent 2020 and then another volatile 2021, both of which were distinguished by the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic. Optimistically, a new year has begun, and we all expect and anticipate a better 2022.”

The New Year is a time for reflection on the past and forward planning; most people make resolutions to break bad habits, develop new ones, or maintain existing ones. We at MTC Connect Magazine also have a resolution: to continue producing our one-of-a-kind magazine, to provide exciting and engaging articles and to spread the word about everything MTC.

“Be grateful for what you have; you will eventually have more.” If you focus exclusively on what you lack, you will never, ever have enough,” Oprah Winfrey said, emphasising the need to express thanks for what we do have. Therefore, this year, before 2023 comes knocking, let us make a point of saying ‘Thank You.’

We look at how we might live with uncertainty, from financial planning to striking a balance between screen and off-line time for ourselves and our children.

In an era of unprecedented isolation, we seek to widen the definition of Valentine’s Day to make it more inclusive and a day to honour not only our love relationships, but also those who matter most, such as our friends and family.

In an era of unprecedented isolation, we seek to widen the definition of Valentine’s Day to make it more inclusive and a day to honour not only our love relationships, but also those who matter most, such as our friends and family.

Finally, I’d want to wish all of our readers a prosperous New Year filled with good health, success, and the opportunity to make wonderful relationships.
